 Pipe scale remover A recently developed product easily removes the scale formed on the inside of pipes. The brainchild of inventor Lee Kwang-ho, this product features a flexible wire which revolves inside the pipe to remove the scale. Conventional methods using chemicals which dissolve solid scale from inner wall of pipe have major disadvantages. The pipe to be treated must first be completely drained of water; the pipe should be cut into specific lengths and re-connected by union joints or other parts after the scale removed; and then auxiliary equipment such as an air hose is required. In addition, chemicals usually corrode the inside of the pipe to some degree.
