Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. is
now marketing a multi-function TFT-LCD monitor equipped with a built-in
TV tuner which allows the monitor to function as a TV set, even
without the support of a PC. The super-slim and lightweight monitor
is available in two models, SyncMaster 170MP and SyncMaster
150MP, featuring screen sizes of 17 inches and 15 inches, depths
of 6.3 and 5.7 centimeters, weights of 6.3 and 4.4 kilograms,
and resolutions of 1,280 x 1,024 and 1,024 x 768 pixels, respectively.
Any part of the screen image can be zoomed up to 64 times its size
and the zoomed images can be panned as well. 
JTEL¡¯s CellVic is the world¡¯s
first commercialized PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) that
enables wireless Internet accesses through a CDMA mobile phone connection.
CellVic features a compact hardware design (7.7 x 11.7 x 1.65 centimeters)
and lightweight (150 grams with batteries installed) for portability.
Its many built-in programs include Memo, Address, Schedule, Ink
Writer (which enables the user to write images such as rough maps
or memos with the stylus on the touch screen), To Do, IR Beam, Calculator,
Clock, Game, E-mail, and SmartWeb. It comes with a PC
link cable and easy-to-use PC software for data backup and synchronization
with a PC. CellVic is designed to fully accommodate the English,
Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese and Korean languages including handwriting
recognition. 
LENTO Co. has introduced a hula-hoop
designed to give the user a therapeutic massage. This upgrade of
the regular hula-hoop features germanium-bearing protrusions on
the inside of the hoop. Not only do the protrusions keep the hoop
from slipping during use, the beneficial germanium trade element
they contain is particularly helpful in stimulating the circulation.
It weighs more than twice conventional hula-hoops and is larger
in diameter by 5 to10 centimeters in order to provide a greater
exercise effect. The luminescent protrusions increases the fun of
using Magic Hoop in the dark, and more, the colors of the protrusions
change from transpatent white to reddish pink according to the degree
of sunlight. It can be disassembled into seven parts to enable it
to be conveniently packed and carried.
