The Korea International Amusement Parks & Attractions Show (KOPA) was created to bring together domestic and foreign amusement technologies and related companies for the purposes of expanding market opportunities in this growing field and exchanging information.
Following the wellreceived launch of the event last year, KOPA 2003 will build on this success by hosting over 110 participant companies including major Japanese, American, Chinese and Taiwanese players to make the show a truly international event. KOPA 2003 will run at the Convention Hall of the Convention & Exhibition Center (COEX) from July 25th to 27th 2003. While restricting the first two days of the show (25th and 26th) to industry professionals only, the organizers have wisely decided to the open the show to the public on the final day of the show¡¯s three-day run (27th) in recognition of the enormous popular interest in an event of this sort.
With an exhibit profile that will include arcade games, karaoke machines, one-armed bandits, jukeboxes, PlayStation2, virtual reality games and simulators of all kinds, KOPA 2003 is guaranteed to fascinate children of all ages!

Exhibit items will range from shop fitting equipment, display fittings, shop space design and graphics, shop pictures, equipment and decorations together with point-ofsale systems to mention just a few.

The outlook is bright for Korea¡¯s livestock industry. The geo-economic location of the country, juxtaposed between the major markets of China, Japan and Russia bodes well for future exports, while rising local consumption of eggs and poultry (below what might be suggested by Korea¡¯s GNP) milk, pork and beef (the preferred meat of Koreans) point to a buoyant domestic demand.
Korea International Livestock Expo 2003 (KISTOCK 2003), to run for four days from July 3rd 2003 at the Pacific Hall, COEX provides a window for related suppliers to service this high-potential market. Participants will exhibit under the categories of genetics, nutrition, equipment, products, sanitation and services. Within these general headings, the exhibit/service profile will vary from artificial insemination and embryo transplantation to diet supplements and feeding equipment, and from disinfectants and milk processing machinery to automatic egg graders and water filtration systems.
KISTOCK 2003 is the third in the series that began in 1999. The two previous shows attracted over 150 exhibitors, the 2001 event drawing them from 15 countries. Over 200 exhibitors and 20,000 attendees are expected to attend this year¡¯s event, making it the largest livestock-related trade event in Korea.
